1. About these terms

SoulShift Studios is operated by Heather Harris-DeMelo as the Alberta sole proprietorship SOUL SHIFT STUDIOS. These terms cover soulshiftstudios.com, accounts we offer and related online access.

Before you pay or we confirm your place, we provide the program details and applicable agreements for you to review and accept. Visiting, enquiring or joining a waitlist does not reserve a place, authorize payment or accept a participant agreement. These terms are not a liability waiver or media release. Program-specific agreements take priority for their services, subject to your legal rights.

2. Registration and accounts

Our current Alberta programs and related online services are for adults aged 18 and over. Provide accurate details and protect your login. If someone helps you register, you must still review and accept your own participant documents. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

Before you commit, we explain how your place is reserved and confirmed. We promptly send a copy of your agreement and purchase details that you can save, no later than 15 days after the agreement is made.

3. Prices, payments and cancellations

Before purchase, we provide the service details, dates, location, inclusions, access period, technical requirements, payment arrangements and cancellation/refund rules. Advertised prices include fixed mandatory fees. We show the total price and currency, with taxes and mandatory charges identified. If we show a deposit, instalment or per-session price, the total is at least as prominent. You can save the information, correct errors and accept or decline before purchasing.

Back to You does not automatically renew. Any future recurring membership or trial will explain billing, duration, renewal, price changes and cancellation, and require your express agreement. An instalment plan alone does not create a recurring membership.

Program agreements explain cancellation and refund rules. These website terms add no cancellation fee or renewal charge. Statutory cancellation and refund rights always apply. We will not increase an agreed price without your agreement.

If we change or cancel booked services, we will tell you promptly and explain your options under your agreement and applicable law. You do not have to accept a credit or replacement instead of a refund you are entitled to receive.

4. Online access and program materials

Your program details explain how long access lasts, what is included, whether downloads are permitted, and any required device, software or third-party account. We identify required platforms and their terms and privacy policies before purchase. For Back to You, you may download videos, print materials and share privately within your household, as stated in your Program Agreement and subject to third-party rights. Do not share logins, distribute outside your household, sell or repackage materials, remove rights notices, or claim authority to teach or certify others using the curriculum. Other services follow their expressly agreed permissions. Lawful uses remain available.

Contact us about access difficulties. A platform interruption does not automatically remove our obligations or your rights. Recordings and independent practice do not provide live supervision.

5. Wellness information and safety

Our yoga, breathing, somatic movement and nervous-system content provides wellness education, not individualized healthcare advice, diagnosis, psychotherapy or treatment. We do not promise treatment of a condition, trauma resolution or a particular result. Testimonials do not guarantee your experience.

Choose practices suited to your circumstances. Adapt, pause or stop, especially if you experience pain, dizziness, breathing difficulty or distress. Ask a qualified healthcare professional if you are unsure about suitability. Do not delay needed care or change prescribed treatment because of our content.

Our website, messages and community are not emergency services; messages may not be seen promptly. Contact local emergency services for urgent help. Participant documents explain program-specific activities, risks and precautions. Website access does not waive injury claims.

6. Content rights

We or the relevant rights holders own our protected text, images, videos and materials. You may view, save or print public pages for personal reference, use downloads as permitted and link to public pages without implying endorsement. Keep attribution and rights notices.

Except with permission or as allowed by law, do not reproduce, sell, redistribute or use protected content in your teaching, commercial products or advertising. No ownership or permission to use our branding transfers to you.

7. Conduct and community

Use our website and communities lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass others, impersonate someone, commit fraud, send spam, upload malware or attempt unauthorized access.

Respect others’ privacy. Do not record or share their private messages, images, voices or stories without permission. Follow the community rules. This does not prevent seeking support, reporting misconduct, making honest reviews or exercising legal rights.

We may remove content or restrict access reasonably to address misuse or protect people and systems. Where practicable, we explain why and how to contact us. We provide reasonable accommodation as required by law. Paid-service consequences follow the program agreement and law; prepaid fees are not automatically forfeited.

8. Your contributions and privacy

You retain rights in your contributions and must have permission to share them. We may use enquiries to respond, and display community posts to the identified audience and moderate them. This limited permission does not authorize advertising use.

Our Privacy Policy explains information handling and optional text messages. Accepting these terms does not subscribe you to marketing or permit promotional use of your image, voice or story. Those choices require separate permission. Keep sensitive health details and payment credentials out of general enquiries; ask Heather for the appropriate route.

9. External services and availability

External platforms have their own terms and privacy policies. Links do not imply endorsement or remove our responsibility for agreed services or information under our control.

We may update content or restrict access for maintenance or security. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page is always current. Website changes alone do not change existing purchase agreements.

10. Your rights and updates

Alberta law and applicable Canadian federal law govern these terms, subject to mandatory protections. Nothing removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuses misleading advertising or privacy breaches, or removes obligations for paid services. These terms do not require private arbitration or restrict access to courts or regulators.

Updates are dated and prospective. We give appropriate notice and obtain further agreement where required. Posting changes does not amend an existing purchased-service agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues where lawful.

11. Contact

Contact Heather at heather@soulshiftstudios.com, +1 (904) 927-9325, or by mail to 412 Chattan Way, Saint Johns, FL 32259, USA. This is a mailing address only, not a class location. The Alberta operator remains as identified above.

Contact us about questions, accessibility needs or complaints. Doing so is encouraged, but is not required before exercising legal rights and does not shorten legal deadlines.
